Job Purpose
To support preventive, promotive, and basic public health services by linking the community with Loropio Dispensary and promoting healthy behaviors in line with Ministry of Health (MoH) community health strategies.

Responsibilities
- Community Health Services
- ● Mobilize community members for health services, immunization, and outreach programs.
- ● Conduct household visits to promote hygiene, sanitation, nutrition, and disease prevention.
- ● Support maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health initiatives.
- Health Education & Promotion
- ● Deliver health education sessions on priority public health issues.
- ● Promote treatment adherence, referrals, and follow-up care within the community.
- Data Collection & Reporting
- ● Collect, record, and submit community health data and reports using approved MoH tools.
- ● Maintain accurate records of community activities and referrals.
- Coordination & Compliance
- ● Work closely with dispensary staff and community health volunteers (CHVs).
- ● Adhere to MoH guidelines, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements.
- ● Participate in training, meetings, and continuous professional development.
Must Have
- ● Certificate or Diploma in Community Health or Public Health from a recognized institution.
- ● Registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
- ● At least one (1) year experience in community health or public health programs preferred.
Nice to have
- Strong communication and community mobilization skills.
- Ability to work independently and within community settings
- Good reporting and basic data management skills.
- Culturally sensitive, ethical, and community-focused approach.
