To ensure accurate collection, management, storage, and reporting of patient health information in compliance with Ministry of Health (MoH) standards and data protection requirements.

Responsibilities
- Health Records Management
- Register patients and create, update, and maintain outpatient (OPD) records.
- Ensure proper filing, retrieval, and secure storage of patient records.
- Maintain dispensary service registers, including OPD, MCH, immunization, and referral registers.
- Data & Reporting
- Compile and submit routine health data using approved Ministry of Health (MoH) reporting tools.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of records and reports.
- Confidentiality & Compliance
- Uphold patient confidentiality and ethical handling of health information.
- Adhere to MoH policies, data protection requirements, and dispensary record-keeping guidelines.
- Support Services
- Provide timely access to patient records to support clinical service delivery.
- Support routine supervision, audits, and data quality improvement activities at the dispensary.
Minimum qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Health Records and Information Management (HRIM) or a related field.
- Registration with the Health Records and Information Managers Board (HRIMB) (will be an added advantage).
- At least one (1) year experience in a primary healthcare or dispensary setting preferred.
Skills & competencies
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organization and manual filing skills.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with simple data tools.
- Ethical, professional, and patient-focused approach.
