Role Purpose
To provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients both on the Campus and Loropio village at the Loropio Dispensary, supporting preventive, curative, and promotive health services in line with Ministry of Health guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Clinical Care
- Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history.
- Provide nursing care for minor ailments, chronic conditions, and emergencies.
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccines as prescribed.
- Provide maternal and child health services, including antenatal and postnatal care.
- Offer first aid and stabilize patients prior to referral when required.
- Health Promotion & Community Outreach
- Educate patients and the community on hygiene, nutrition, family planning, and disease prevention.
- Participate in immunization programs, health talks, and outreach activities.
- Promote treatment adherence and follow-up care.
- Dispensary Management
- Maintain accurate patient records, registers, and reports.
- Manage medical supplies and ensure proper storage and stock control.
- Support routine reporting and audits as required by relevant authorities.
- Compliance & Professional Development
- Adhere to MoH protocols, infection prevention, and control guidelines.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional ethics.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities.
Minimum qualifications & Experience
- Registered Nurse with a valid Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) license.
- Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ clinical experience, preferably in a dispensary or community health setting.
- Knowledge of public health practices, immunization schedules, and record-keeping.
